It is important that we keep our valued customers up to date with the latest COVID-19 situations and changes affecting business, deliveries, stores and customer service. With the recent easing of restrictions in Victoria, we’ll back to normal operating hours as below from Monday 1/11/2021. 🥳

As excited as we are to have our loyal customers back in store for a full range of services, please be aware that social distancing and hygiene practices following the Victorian Health Department advises are still apply.

UPDATE: 16/08/2021 2.30pm:

On Monday, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews said the lockdown would be extended by a further two weeks as there are too many unknown cases being recorded.

It is the second time the current lockdown has been extended and it is now set to end at 11.59pm on September 2.

UPDATE: 15/07/2021 5.30pm:

On Thursday afternoon, Premier Daniel Andrews announced the news Victorians had been dreading, revealing a snap lockdown would come into effect from midnight until at least midnight Tuesday in  a desperate bid to contain the spread of the highly transmissible Delta strain.

The same rules that applied during last month’s lockdown have been reimposed, including a 5km travel limit for exercise and shopping and compulsory masks indoors and outdoors.

DKONNECT is still open during the lockdown. We offer Click & Collect and essential services in store.

UPDATE: 27/05/2021 1.30pm:

Victoria will move to circuit breaker restrictions from 11:59pm tonight. These settings will remain in place until 11:59pm on 3 June.

However due to COVID-19 restrictions, only essential services can be provided in store such as recharge, phone issue diagnoses.
We also encourage you to visit our website at www.shop.dkonnect.com.au for handsets and accessories purchases, as we provide online delivery and Click & Collect services.

  • Continue to be carried at all times
  • Face masks must be worn indoors (except at private residences where recommended)

    • on public transport, in taxis, or in ride share vehicles

The GOOD NEWS is that online sales, support and shipping are all up and running better than ever, thanks to spare staff we are ready to serve you and dispatch faster than ever! Hopefully AusPost can keep up! When using contactless order and collect please ensure to maintain social distancing and wear a mask, failure to do so will result in refusal of service. We all must follow the law.

  • SEVERE DELAYS WITH AUSTRALIA POST / STARTRACK. 

Unfortunately Australia Post and Startrack are experiencing severe delays due to COVID 19 measures in place in Victoria. Our deliveries are picked up multiple times a day - if a tracking number has been added then the goods have been handed to the courier. The Australia Post network is running way above capacity and they are reporting heavy delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding should any delays occur, rest assured we are dispatching almost 100% of orders same day when in stock.

  • CHANGE OF MIND 

Please consider your shopping choices carefully prior to purchase as we are currently not accepting change of mind returns. Change of mind returns are at the merchants discretion in Australia and are not a right covered under ACL (Australian Consumer Law). In line with other sellers in our channel, and due to large demand due to work from home / COVID, we cannot extend this courtesy currently. Apologies for any inconvenience.

  • ETA's, PRICING AND STOCK LEVELS ARE LIVE ON OUR WEBSITE

Due to the above and phones being overloaded, self serve may be the best option for some enquiries. For stock checks, ETA's and availability our website has up to the minute pricing, stock and our latest known ETA. In fact our call team will always refer to our website to provide this exact information, so avoid the long queue calling and go straight to the source - our website.

  • SOME STOCK SHORTAGES, BOUNCING ETA's AND PRICE RISES.

Due to the current situation, poor Australian dollar, large demand, slow shipments and factories recovering in China we can expect some products to be on shortage, also continually bouncing (moving forward) ETAs may occur due to supply uncertainty and delays. Please bear in mind our ETA is an ESTIMATED time of arrival, and may change. There are some price rises across some categories however be assured we have not adjusted our operating profit %, all rises are directly related to cost increases.

  • SLOWER PROCESSING OF CREDITS/REFUNDS

Our accounts team is working from home; please allow up to 5-7 days for any accounts related actions. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • BULK BUYING FOR RESELLING, PANIC BUYING & CHANGE OF MIND

Due to current unprecedented circumstances and individuals bulk buying for the purpose of reselling at profit, and uninformed panic buying, as per the same policy being engaged by major supermarkets, DKonnect will unfortunately not offer change of mind refunds and returns under any circumstances, in complete compliance of Australian Consumer Law. Please ensure your purchases and quantities are suited to your direct needs. This policy is to ensure stock fairness in light of potential shortages and bulk buying practices with intent to resell.

  • ZERO TOLERANCE TO ABUSE.

It is understandable with the economic and social stresses some customers are under that emotions are running high. Add to that stock shortages, longer and bouncing ETA's and price rises and it is understandable there are some frayed tempers out there. We know you just want your products, and we want to provide them, however please note that stock delays and other issues under current circumstances do not give anyone the right to abuse and swear at our service team. We thank our valued customers for their understanding and patience during this "crazy" time and hope everyone is healthy and safe.
